News - Elastic Path appoints Riccardo La Rosa as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Operations

September 10th, 2020. Elastic Path announced the appointment of Riccardo La Rosa as SVP Engineering and Operations, moving from a role as VP Cloud Engineering with Acquia the content management system vendor and digital marketing services provider. The announcement comes just days after Jamus Driscoll was appointed as the new CEO of Elastic Path. La Rosa joined Acquia in December 2017 and saw the company through its 2019 acquisition by Vista Equity Partners.

Elastic Path is clearly feeling bullish about the market and its prospects right now, perhaps bouyed by the market capitalization highs seen by fellow Canadian ecommerce business Shopify. EP has acquired Moltin, appointed a new CEO and now La Rosa, all during 2020.
