News - Ferguson has selected multiple Salesforce platforms

February 8th, 2021. Salesforce has announced that Ferguson, the $21.8bn revenue US-based, but London Stock Exchange-listed, distributor of plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies, has selected multiple of its platforms to power an upcoming digital transformation program. The selected platforms include Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud.

The announcement cites digital transformation as the reason for the adoption.

Ferguson has been a long-standing customer of Oracle Commerce Cloud and its current public ecommerce website is built on this technology.

Quotes in the press release were attributed to Bret Taylor, President and COO of Salesforce and Michael Sajor, Global CIO and SVP at Ferguson, who interestingly lists on his LinkedIn profile his CIO role at Apollo Education Group but not his role with Ferguson.
